Check service request status on USCIS

I am going through various stages of getting my EAD and this step I hope you do not have to go through. I am saying so because its only been a couple of months through this phase and my anxiety has already challenged my patience almost every day recently.

So here is what I am doing these days - checking the status of my service request to know where my EAD process is. 

USCIS has plenty of information available on their site which is helpful. For service request status, I follow below step:

1. Access USCIS link - https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/displayLogon.do and go to step 2

Alternatively you can also go through https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do  and click on the Account Login button on this page.  

2. On the account login page, enter your User Name and Password and click Login.

3. Once you are logged in, on below page, enter your EAD receipt number and click Add case.

4. On this page, click on the receipt number displayed to view the status of your service request. 

And there you go, you see the details of your case status, as well as your service request on this page in Case History section. 

Also, this page show the Next Steps section on right bottom of page, which shows the next course of actions USCIS is going to take on case.
